The SCNA Story

About the Sandwich Community Nurse Association (SCNA)

The SCNA was founded by a group of local residents after extensive research into unmet community needs and consultation with other towns’ health agencies. All the data about Sandwich suggests the Town will benefit from a community nurse to help residents stay healthy, thriving and independent.

A non-profit organization, SCNA is led by a volunteer board of directors with a wide range of experience in community health, education, communication and nonprofit leadership. It has received generous funding from the Alfred Quimby Fund, the Community Nurse Connection and generous Sandwich residents, both directly and through anonymous grants to the NH Charitable Foundation.
